MC-1, midi controller

After a 6th MCU board change, yes. I hope that time it just gonna be fine tuning because it was long.
I'm gonna use an Arduino board, a genuine one that cost 30€ (i didn't felt great when i saw this.). Also this board dont have USB-C that also kills me real softly, but i'm not sure i want to go for another ride of rewiring this board just to use atmega32u4 based board with USB-C. Now i'm sure this board is also compatible with micropython and circuitpython and arduino C aswell.

I also finished to design the custom keycaps for it, i'm not sure they'll fit, since i didnt found absolute mesurement for keycaps. Everybody follow made up rules and when i check some Grabcad files none were the same. So next step is surly to do mesurement testing for the custom keycaps.

I saw JLCPCB do resin 3D printing, which is also nice, i have no reference level between filament and resin printing.
I'm gonna find out and learn!

keyboard projects

They're here. i still need to finish the documentation for those. And writing more pages!

autoharp

My autoharp project need a tuning key to be able to put new strings, i have to buy this tuning key. I'm not sure of its price. I'm not sure if its available. Need to got to the music shop where i brought it. They're specialized in guitars and basses but they were pretty much amused about my thought to "bring them an instrument which is basically a flat box with strings on it".

guitar

I need a trim on the headstock and body of my guitar, it's not much but actually never did woodworking so far except cut, drill and nail.

mini bike

That one need also some spending, my old teacher gave me few brazing rods that have flux coating, i have enough to do the whole bike easily, i need to buy a dummy axle for good mesure. I intend to do that at a bike collective workshop. They have a OA torch. I asked them.

other stuff

I found some stuff to repair in the turntable. I bought a Telefunken TS860 Turntable well used and loved at a charity shop. It's a cool model that doesn't rely on a belt drive. My grandma has two turntables with those and were a pain to find the correct belt length. I saw "Direct Drive" it has simple controls pitch and speed indicator it was enough for me.
I complain a lot about infos and manuals locked into some forum where i can't create an account due to my french ip or my random mullvadish ip BUT good thing someone put the service manual on Internet Archive. But it didnt helped me a lot so far but in understood it a bit more.

I intended to go at a repair café to get help with the turntable because i know nothing about them and how to perform a checkup. How do i know if i need to remove or replace some parts. But the repair café mixed up its opening hours and i went there way too early. I just returned home because i'm not really near that place and i didn't feeling like waiting 3 hours or so in town with nothing open (it was a sunday).

So today i opened it, tried to protect the tone arm and rest the turntable on better points, i saw the master switch completely taped with a few parts. I found some picture about this model opened up and few tries with bits and bobs. i also saw a fuse was burned out.

The problem with the master switch was its plastic screws that break in the sockets they were supposed to be, i removed all the bits of platic and searched some replacement, i replaced one with a metal screw and i intend to replace the other with a homemade one.
i have wheel spoke the same size so... called it a cheap replacement but also it works

After this change the button with that switch was working as intended mechanically. But i still need to change a fuse.

I also repaired my printer. i don't remember all the things i did with that one but yesterday, i reassembled few parts and mysteriously it worked.

thats all of it?

Yes, see you around. also you should know all of this by following me on Mastodon -but i'm also a random NPC that can toot for nothing.
