Just moving back to my former city, So, maybe. For real real this time, i hope
Matter of facts, i got a friend that recommended his club. I'm not sure since i'm quite far from that one. Yeah the city is big like that. And i just have legs and public transport card. I'll see.
It is time for the year review. What happened that i didn't talk about here!

25 wasn't as nice as i could expect. But we made due.

About the deshonorable mention of my spending for more details, i think i spent slightly more on Taobao (ie: aliexpress/alibaba) than on Decathlon (sporting goods shop) because i was looking for bicycle tools, which are not resonably priced for hobbyists. Also the counterweight to that deshonorable mention is i still spent at the charity shop next door but not as much as last year.
Major events
As if
- January, i got a MASSIVE cold, at home. And put pressure on my landlord to have a working heater
- February, I went to Bulgaria and Serbia, it was pretty awesome. I would love to go back for more learning, museum visiting and church contemplations
- March, i got back on sewing, i made pants, got back on reading, i went to a gamejam! I made music only using Cardinal Synth, i used and learned a lot about Emacs
- April, applied to some jobs, and didn't won. Also i did some FreeCAD, and play video games a lot
- May, I went to a friend birthday and it was awesome, it was so pleasing to see people living their own truth without the bounds of some aspect of society.
- June, Was cool, finally got to esperanto class, ĝi estas agrable kurioza
- July, revolved aroung FreeCAD and little projects updates. Also i think i answer a job ad i was waiting. -of course i didn't get the job (and that one hurted a bit) it is what it is
- August, i catsitted some cats, and it was really cool. I loved them cats. I made a bicycle build for a friend and worked at the bicycle collective in my former city by myself, it was cool to have the slightest responsabilities.
- September, yeah last day of august i got a water damaged that could be prevented a year ago when i highlighted some signs but i dealt everything in september.
- October, sent my letter to moving out
- November, panicking about appartments and storage, i also lost my wallet and found it back a week ago at the train station lost&found
- December, well i made boxes, and moved the f out.
It was a sad year overall, cried a lot, dissociating a lot too. Thinking a lot about death (not of myself) but my friend's and my cat's death.
Learn
Went back to to play guitar early this year, because i missed strings on it but now i could get back. I swapped for esperanto
On things i managed to keep, there's the monthly ride, to keep myself enjoying bicycle. I still learned a lot of FreeCAD, Emacs, Linux stuff and woodworking.
I finished few projects, lamps, hotas mounts, the cantareel is finished but need a lot of testing.
Restructured
I had a moment of reflection about firefox sync. i'm not sure to keep it long run.
Life without Spotify is still good. I started to use EMMS to play music on computer. Speaking of that, EMMS is really nice. I try to use GNU Emacs for all tasks that might require it. I've learned a lot of stuff from the vanilla version. I'm still not competant enough for elisp coding. But i still look it with curiosity and i wish to get that skill in the future years.
Very last event
A friend asked me to go on a hike on Puy de Dome, a lava dome mountain and see the first sunrise of the year, it was a great idea.
It was really hard as i never go on hikes. I'm a bicycle person for a lot of reasons. Due to several issues i walk a bit like a robot and cannot walk long-long distances before feeling pain in my feet, but here the difficulties were due to what i did earlier that day: lifting boxes, bad posture. Felt my legs loosing all energy and shaking more than once.
It was really rewarding to be there before the sunrise. I was surprised to see a lot of people doing the same!
Also nature was beautiful as always, we went to the top by the road (forbbiden), because we didn't found the start point of "The Goats Trail" and "The Mule Drivers Trail" was closed because of a rockfall. When we went down we took a bit of the Goats Trail and a unamed path a bit chaotic. But the scenery was really nice, with winter tones few bird chips and the sound of wind in trees
